Sylvia Kamya Crown African Queen in Scotland

Beauty, style and fashion filled the air as Sylvia Kamya, 23, Medical student, representing Uganda was crowned African Queen of the several contestants that participated in the 2012 edition of the Miss African Scotland.

The glamorous event organised annually by  Famous Rainbow Productions and the MAS Team showcases some of the hottest African beauty studying or working in the UK.  MAS aims to empower and give exposure to the young people of African origin through a showcase of beauty, talent and culture. The team is succeeding uniting African communities in Scotland through collaboration with artists, designers, entrepreneurs, charities and various sponsors.

    I was at this event last year, it was awesome and the contestants did well to represent their countries.it was very competitive but eventually there has to be a winner.
