The man was reported missing since last Monday. He was reported missing at Harare Central Office under Crime Report No. 051498 last Thursday.
“On Thursday, we made a report to the police, since then we had been working with the police for leads which were not forthcoming until DJ Munya came to the flat and confessed to our neighbour that he knew where my husband was.” Says Magorimbo’s wife.

According to local news,DJ Munya was arrested on Friday after he allegedly “confessed” to knowing the whereabouts of Magorimbo.
Sources close to the investigations said some time this month, DJ Munya suspected that his wife who works at PSMAS – was having an affair with Magorimbo, a workmate. Sometime last week he reportedly confronted Magorimbo at his workplace.
“A few days later Magorimbo went missing and a report was made to the police. Magorimbo went missing for two days, leading to the arrest of DJ Munya on allegations of kidnapping,” said the source.
A neighbour of Magorimbo also disclosed that DJ Munya came asking for someone who worked at Baines Hospital.

“DJ Munya frequents this place and is popular here. I told him that there were nurses and other people who worked at Baines, hence could not guess which one he was referring to. I asked him if he did not have a photo of the person, after which he pulled his cell-phone and showed me a photo of Magorimbo.”

The neighbour said she was shocked to see the photograph of the person they were looking for.

“DJ Munya then said he wanted to see Magorimbo’s wife because he wanted to speak to her. I called Millicent and she came and talked to DJ Munya while I went to the shops. I do not know what they discussed but their discussion was so brief when I came back they had already finished,” she said.

The woman said DJ Munya boastfully told her before he left that he knew where Magorimbo was.

“He said Magorimbo was fine and would come back the next day (Friday) before 4pm. I was convinced DJ Munya knew where Magorimbo was and convinced his wife to report him to the police as a suspect.”
On Saturday Magorimbo was dumped near his flat in the city while he was unconscious and was taken to St Anne’s Hospital for treatment and he died on Sunday morning and it is believed that he was forced to drink an undisclosed pesticide.

2011 Big Brother Africa winner, Wendall Parson, has been arrested over an alleged $25,000 fraud for making false car insurance claims after he was involved in an accident with his car in March 2013.

According to local reports, Wendall allegedly insured his Ford Ranger car with Alliance Insurance Company on March 18, 2013, two days after he crash the same car. He then allegedly lodged a false insurance claim of $25,000 for the same car.
The insurance company, suspecting a foul play, launch an investigation and reportedly found out that Wendall crashed the car before he insured it with them. This led to his arrest on Friday and he would soon be charged to court for prosecution.

Wendall won $200,000 from the competition in 2011 and also got $50,000 cash from President Robert Mugabe for winning the show.

In 2011, there were scenes of wild jubilation as scores of fans waited, some for over an hour, for the two housemates to arrive.

Vimbai made it as far as the penultimate eviction show on July 24 and Wendall went on to win one of the two first prizes of US$200 000.

The rousing homecoming had its fair share of glitz and glamour coupled with traditional dances as well as Vuvuzela blowing fans.

“It’s good to be back,” Wendall said as he was whisked away by bodyguards.

His mother Gillian Jackson was visibly overwhelmed as she was all over Wendall, who was nicknamed “Nibbles” during his 91-day stay in the house.

This jubilation and pride has gone sour in the mouths of many Zimbabweans, with most of his fans regretting the votes they casted to help him win.

One of his fan James Ngog said ‘its a big disgrace for such a role model and i feel so ashamed being his fan’.

R2Bees Wins Artiste of Year – Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2013 

The group had to beat contenders like D-Black, VIP, Kwaw Kese, Cwesi Oteng and 4X4 to win the biggest award of the night. They also bagged five other awards; which includes Hi-life Song of the Year, Hiplife Song of the Year, Group of the Year, and the Vodafone Most Popular Song of the Year. They received a brand new MG Rover vehicle and Samsung Galaxy S4 phones from Vodafone as part of the awards package.

Other big winners of the night were Kaakie who won Reggae Dancehall Song of the Year and New Artiste of the Year, rapper M.Anifest won Hiphop Song of the Year and Rapper of the Year, E.L. won Album of the Year award and Nigerian Artist, Wizkid won African Artiste of the Year.

According to him the album is meant to tell a story and his eight-track album title says it all.

“The album is loaded with hit songs like ‘My Life’ which is based on my life experiences. I keep it real and talk about my life as it is so people are bound to relate to them,” he said.

Other tracks on the album are “Mic Pass”, “Summer Time” and “Street Party”.

Timz says “I believe hip-hop is not all about gangsters, swearing and rebellion. The true meaning of hip-hop has been distorted by artistes like Lil Wayne,”

Timz Carter’s also said he gets his inspiration from rapper Dwaine Carter (Lil Wayne) although he is also his biggest critic.

“Rap can be used to spread positive and clean messages that can change and transform people’s lives. Just like my kind of music, it is pure hip-hop which strives to influence other kids to lead positive clean lifestyles…Back in the days, Wizzy used to make really cool music and with deep meaning and that time I became his biggest fan. These days, the content of his music is all about swearing and sexually explicit stuff although his style is both creative and good,” he said.

Born 17 years ago, he is the third born in a family of four. Music has been his love since he was doing his primary education at Chirodzo in Mbare. By the time he was in Grade Seven, he was not exploiting his musical prowess in the school’s percussion band but was already writing songs.

“I write music for the fun of it and my sister Cleopatra, who is now 16, would sing them. It was in Form One that I started writing for myself but I would put them on the side. This particular album, however, is a product that I started working on while I was in Form Three. It was released in February this year,” he said.
Besides music, Timz Carter is studying for his O-Levels at Tynwald. He wishes to pursue his education and work towards being a lawyer.

“I get support from my father who also helps to finance my music. Although he encourages me to follow my dreams, he wants me to have a profession to fall back on,” he said.

All songs on the album are sound tracks for movies ‘Metanfo’, ‘Mogya Kron Kron’, ‘Azonto Ghost’ and ‘Azonto Ghost Reloaded’ and were recorded by Bisa KDei himself.
According to Bisa “I really took my time to do all the songs on the album and I believe Ghanaians would love…The ‘Azonto Ghost’ was a hit but the other tracks on the album are also mind blowing”.

He released a music video titled ‘Over’ which he featured Kojo Nkansah aka Lil Win not quite long,and it was really nice .
Mustapha a.k.a A.A is the producer of his up-coming album and he said “The album comes with part 3 of ‘Azonto Ghost Reloaded’ and it’s going for only GH¢10. I have listened to all the tracks and they are mind blowing”.He also added that Azonto Ghost Reloaded 3 and the Azonto album will be out the same time.

37-year-old actress, Angelina Jolie is making plans to have her ovaries removed,just after double mastectomy after discovering she’s a carrier of the fBRCA1 gene.

She made this decision after been told she had 87% chance of contracting breast cancer. And now, She’s already planning surgery on the removal of both her ovaries – as the gene means she has a 50% chance of developing ovarian cancer.

According to People magazine, Angelina is likely to have the next procedures before she turns 40, as doctors recommend having the surgery done after child-bearing and this means she will no longer be able to have biological children after the surgery.

She has three biological children, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, and three adopted children, Maddox, 11, Pax, nine, Zahara, eight for her fiancé Brad Pitt.

The actress revealed to the world her decision to have the double mastectomy by writing an in the New York Times on Tuesday.

In the editorial piece entitled ‘My Medical Choice’, Angelina wrote: ‘My doctors estimated that I had an 87% risk of breast cancer and a 50% risk of ovarian cancer, although the risk is different in the case of each woman.

‘Only a fraction of breast cancers result from an inherited gene mutation. Those with a defect in BRCA1 have a 65% risk of getting it, on average.

‘Once I knew that this was my reality, I decided to be proactive and to minimize the risk as much I could. I made a decision to have a preventive double mastectomy.

‘I started with the breasts, as my risk of breast cancer is higher than my risk of ovarian cancer, and the surgery is more complex.

‘On April 27, I finished the three months of medical procedures that the mastectomies involved. During that time I have been able to keep this private and to carry on with my work.

‘My chances of developing breast cancer have dropped from 87% to under 5%. I can tell my children that they don’t need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer.’

Rihanna and Beyonce will be battling for the the category for the Best Female R$B/Pop Artist. Other categories in contention are Best Male Pop Artist, Best Group, Best Collabo, Best Actor  Best Actress, as well as Sportsman/Sportswoman of the year.

This years Award will be held at at the Nokia Theater L.A. and will be hosted by actor/comedian Chris Tucker. Chris Brwon and R Kelly have been confirmed to perform on the night.

The long awaited finale of the MTV Africa All Stars concert in Durban, South Africa is finally here. The finale of the concert will be co-hosted by KwaZulu-Natal Province at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, People’s Park in Durban, South Africa on 18th May 2013.
Big stars at home and international like Rap icon, Snoop Lion, formerly known as Snoop Dogg will perform at the event.
